This past weekend we ordered a new exterior door for our laundry room. When we bought the house the laundry room was an exterior room with no entry to the house... just an exterior door. We finished the room last year and added a pocket door connecting the laundry room to the kitchen. It is awesome! Currently there is a solid wooden door leading to the backyard. Natural light is much needed in our laundry room so this past weekend we special ordered a new exterior door. See below:
Hopefully it will come in this weekend and we can install and paint it! High gloss black for the exterior and high gloss white for the interior. We don't use this door so it doesn't have a door knob... just two deadbolts.
We also purchased a Magnolia Tulip Tree to plant outside the door. We bought the dwarf tree so we don't have to worry about roots growing into the foundation since it will be close to the house.
